A 12x12 Layout

Hi All! Good day to you! Today, I'll be sharing a simple 12x12 layout using Webster's Pages & Graphic45 papers, washi tape, flowers from Prima, metal buttons, journalling cards, rub-ons and bits of everything else.
I have also used Martha Stewart's white texture effect onto a stencil, let it dry and then applied slight some distress inks onto it.
If you need a subtler effect for your embellishment; in my case is the flowers, try using some tulles. I think it works for me here. Lol!
It's a pretty simple layout using my DT kit for November; mostly all except for the metal buttons, flowers, leaves and tulle.

A photo or a caption can be added onto the space below; just on top of the washi tapes. A small or big photo is entirely up to you.

Until then, see ya next time! Ciao!

hello all,

Here's a little video I'd like to share.  The beauty about Project Life is you don't have to start one on Jan 1.  The kit is designed for you to capture a year of memories but your year can begin anytime, from anyday or any occasion.  You decide when you want to start documenting your life in its most precious ways :o)

Helloooo....

Yay!!  I've got meself my very first Project Life Kit!  I'm starting with my Clementine Starter kit & black binder and got myself extra journaling cards and Big envelope pockets.  Can't wait to start my very first pages with my newfound love- washi tapes too.  But first I've got to get organised.  Am organising my photos and will start printing them on my Photosmart soon.  I've been told that the Canon photo printer works wonders too, so I should dust off my unit and try getting it to work again.

Well, here's a really inspiring Project Life artist for me at the moment.  Sorry, I have none of my own to share just yet but Leena Loh who is currently DT for Scraplicious, Singapore, has been kind enough to allow us to share some of hers.  Do visit www.findingnana.com for more.  And huge thanks to Leena for sharing ("Great sharing!" - these will probably be words from my kids' teachers at school)

If you need an excuse to start Project Life, today is IT!

Meanwhile, we're searching for artists to dedicate themselves to our Project Life Design Team starting Jan 2013.  Email us your interests and project portfolio as well as a short intro about yourself at papierlove@gmail.com if you're keen.  If you have already started Project Life, and wish to share your inspirations with our readers, feel free to email us a page or two and tell us your story.

Don't forget to check back tomorrow for WEEK 2 of Countdown to Christmas PROMO.

More Cards...

What a amazing selection of beautiful pattern papers available for this Christmas.   Today, I would like to share three cards .

The first card, "Homeward Bound", is made from the Webster's Pages Royal Christmas Collection 'Ride Home".  The card contains the season greetings and another underlying message to remind the recipient to start planning for the journey home where lots of joy awaiting them.

The second card is about "A VIEW FROM THE WINDOW" upon arriving home.  Looking inside is the Christmas tree surrounded by presents and the cute ginger breads. The tree is also decorated with candies and they are made from the amazing Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet paper collection.
The greeting message is hidden until the tree is pulled upward.

The third card is about "GIVING" which not only contains the season greeting but can also house any gift cards through the use of washi tape.
For this card, I used Webster's Pages Royal Christmas Collection 'Pine Needles' pattern paper that has beautiful Christmas tone on one side and a light colour pattern on the other side. The red scalloped frame on the top and bottom of the greetings came from the bottom part of the pattern paper.

Do check out the beautiful tapes and pattern papers available at the store when you drop by next time.

Happy Scrapping...

Nutty You and a Christmas Card

Hi there and Happy Tuesday! Today, I would like to share with you two cards that I made using the DT kit for this month of November. The papers are from Graphic45 and they are full of whimsical characters.

The first card I made carries a title Nutcracker Sweet; hence I named it 'Nutty You'...for somewhat obvious reason....hehe..

And the second card ...well I guess you can tell from the photo. I hope it's not too early to do a Christmas card. I mean, of course you can do Christmas or any other festival cards anytime you like. You just keep it aside and use it when the time comes. Lol!

Do come to the store for your craft supplies! See ya next time!

Hi, this is Mee Foon here.  I am very honoured to be part of  Papier design team which consists of so many creative and talented individuals.   Today, I have two projects to share with you.

My first one is a ribbon storage.  Ribbons are just yummylicious and my collection has been growing and hiding away in big plastic containers.   Finding the right one to be used for my project has becoming a time consuming mission.  The latest Graphic 45 Bird Song collection gave me an idea to house them for easy access and safe away from DUST.  Plus, I can turn them into beautiful display.
3D birds and flowers made from air dry clay and Bird Song papers.

My second inspiration came from Graphic 45 Ladies' Diary collection.   It was such joy to relive my childhood days . . . . . playing with dolls.

I am still contemplating on what to house inside the cabinet.   Meanwhile, there will be more "renovations" (new furniture, light fixture, etc ) and perhaps getting some clothing to fit my current "naked" dress form.   Stay tune and check out the new Doll room next week at Papier.   Please also feel free to comment or suggest any "renovation" ideas.

Happy Scrapping : )

Life Is Good Layout

Hello Nov! I have a love and hate relation with the raining season. Love because i get to used up all these cool looking sweaters I've been hoarding for ages, hate due to the crazy traffic! Yes, for some reason we always have congestion and traffic jams during the rainy season. Anyway with the cool weather outside i get to create more! Confined to my own home most of the days i get that extra hours to scrap to my heart content.

Here's my recent layout using my Dt Nov kit. Layout of moi using Webster's Pages Pattern Papers, Graphic 45 PP's, Prima Flowers, Paper Doilies, Mists, Corrugated Board, K&Co Metal Art, Prima Say It in Crystal, Prima Velvet Trinkets, Prima Wood Buttons and Webster's Pages Mini Messages.

All materials is available at the Papier Scrapbook store. Here's wishing you a good day ahead. Take care all...:)
