ATCs Galore

Happy Wednesday!
I hope those of you who came to our ATC Crop Party had a splendid time with us and our activities at Papier. Thanks for joining in the fun. You girls rock!!
Today, I want to share my ATCs made using materials from my DT kit and also from my own supplies i.e the metal sheet, alcohol inks and embossing folder.
All these ATCs are already placed at Papier and some of them have already been swapped last weekend...hehehe! Just remember if you want to swap, please bring your own ATCs and the same number of ATCs to be swapped is required. Then all we need to do is just to record who you are and which ATCs you are taking with you. ;)))))
These 2 ATCs above were quite simple and straightforward to do. Most of the items came from my DT kit for this month.
I just love doing these metal ATCs. I bought a metal sheet from a local scrapbook store and sandwiched it in my Cuttlebug with the Tim Holtz Alteration embossing folder. I have used the coloured and also the clear side of the metal sheet to create these different effects. On the clear ones, I have applied the alcohol inks onto it and added some mixates or blending solution. On the coloured ones, I have applied just the same thing after I sand it first whilst others were just plainly sanded.
And another thing, as what we have shared with you during the ATC Crop Party last Sunday, you can have 14 ATCs from a single 12x12 card stock. Below is an example on how you do it. Just remember that once you have cut the 2nos. of 2.5" and 2nos. of 3.5" strip from your card stock, the only thing you need to do next is cut 3.5" from the 2.5" strip and 2.5" from the 3.5" strip. Any question, please don't hesitate to ask. :)))))

Materials used:

Pp: Webster's Pages ( I have used back and front )
Rhinestone: Pebbles
Embossing folder: Tim Holtz Alterations
Inks: Alcohol inks, mixatives and blending solution from Ranger
See ya' next time, same time and same place! Ciao!

ATC - Runway...

ATCs have never fail to bring lotsa smiles and mojo to me. I smile recalling the designer of each ATC, their style and strokes are so familiar to me. Something to share..whenever I  see my craft buddies..I see their colours too..This one is pastels...this is browns and this is pink and pink and pink..lol. Can you tell what's my colour?

I'm sure by now of many of  you that attended the ATC Crop Market at Papier last Saturday already know some cool techniques used for making ATCs. Just choose the. techniques that you are comfortable with. But don't forget to explore too..what's life without a challenge !

And if you encounter 'mishaps'..do remember that there is no mistakes in art..only opportunities for  another exciting creations.
Happy crafting friends and have a blessed week ahead :))

Sun, Waves and Sand - a scrapbook layout

Hi there! It's my turn again on Wednesday! Happy Wednesday!

Do you like the sea? I've always loveeeeee the sea. I've taken quite a lot of photos of the sea when I used to be very active in scuba-diving. Do you know how gorgeous it is down there?! Oh well, I can talk forever about scuba-dive, but don't let me bore you.

So, today, I'm sharing with you a layout of Sun, Waves and Sand. The stickers that I have used here (surf board, summer and the smiling sun) all came with my DT kit for this month. Aren't they gorgeous?

So for the background, I have combined the Martha Stewart paint and its white texture effect to create the sea water on bottom half of the card stock. Maybe you'll do a better job at that than I did...haha! I have also added a white gauze as a net and fish & a clam die-cuts from Pink Paislee.

Apothecary bottle and actually! I have also added few small shells on the final version of this layout. Come to Papier if you want to view the final version! and buy your craft items to get started!

Can you see the tall stacking ice creams? Perfect combo for a nice relaxing day on the beach, eh?

Materials used:

Card stock: from DT kit , available at Papier

Paints and white texture effect: Martha Stewart

Fish and clam! Ice creams, umbrella and sentiment die cuts: Pink Paislee

Chipboard stickers: DT kit

Apothecary bottle: local art shop

Gauze: left over at home

Sea shells ( that you can't see here) : own sea shells collections

See you next week, same time and same place folks! Ciao!

Card - Let's Go

Hi peeps..can't wait for this weekend!
Ready for a card...a simple and clean one. This card is made using 2 basic card stocks for the background. I just adore the combination of white, ivory and light turquoise. My plate of colors :))

Melissa Frances travel tags seem perfect for this card. I superimposed it against a doily.
The gorgeous french lace fits nicely on the tag. It was a treasured gift from a friend and had been making appearances in few of my projects :))

Till then friends..KEEP CALM AND CRAFT ON. Look forward to meet you guys this weekend !
 Let's have some fun :))

3D Birthday Gift Tag

Welcome Monday, full week ahead and i'm so excited about our coming ATC Crop Market! I can't wait to see all of you on sunday and exchange ATC's. I'm preparing a box full of them! lol.

Sharing with you today is a 3D Tag i made using MM Dilly Dally Embellishment box. I've basically used most of the content and only left with the box and little bits and pieces. I then turn the box into a 3D Gift Tag that i attach to the birthday box.

I added the Birthday girls photo and on the cover i made my own flowers from organza mix with Prima flowers, Melissa Frances Embellishment and MM Glitter alpha.

Have a great week everyone. See you soon. :)

Princess - A Scrapbook Layout

Hi Everyone! Weekend is just around the corner...isn't it great!

Ok, this week I have worked on a layout of my youngest niece Mia, who has just turned 1 year old last weekend. The picture was taken during her birthday celebration wearing her princess dress which was also the theme of the birthday party.

For this layout I have used 2 pieces of papers - 1 from  7 Gypsies and another from Melissa Frances paper collection.

For embellishments, I have used flowers from Je't Adore, message glass bottles, ribbon and buttons.

That's all from me this week - a simple and straight forward layout. Till we meet again next week.

Materials List
Melissa Frances - Minerva
7 Gypsies Victoria Paper - Printemps
Hambly Screenprints - Banner

Altered Frame

Hi there again! Happy Wednesday! Today I will be sharing with you an altered frame project. The frame is reasonably sized and quite cheap too! I got it from Daiso. RM5! Haha..

The patterned papers that I have used here are from my DT kit. Most of the items I have used here are also available at Papier.

First, I have painted the frame with Martha Stewart paint combined with the white texture effect, which is why you can see the roughness of the surface. Then, once dried, I have applied Ranger ice stickles onto the frame, which is giving it the glittery effect. Of course, you can use one of Martha Stewart glitter paints if you wish. Just keep your imaginations run wild!

Materials used:

Frame: Daiso

Pp: Webster's Pages

Chippie: Dusty Attic

Embossing on chippie: Shimmerz Enamelz

Paints and white texture: Martha Stewart

Glitter: Ranger Ice Stickles

Flowers: Kaisercraft

Alpha stickers: Webster's Pages ( from Sunday Picnic collection )

See you again next week, same time and same place! Ciao!

Card - Missing You

I hope I'm not boring you with another card of the same theme..lol :)).  It's just that currently these are my colours.  I realised, I'm so thankful and feel so blessed to have this small corner to do my crafting. Eventhough somehow I'm only left with a "clean" 12 x 12 table surface to scrap..he he. That's what happen to my work area after each "storm". Ooops here's my take this week.

It's pretty easy to make this card . First I made the paper roses using Sizzix die - 3D  flowers. Well ..actually  I made these blooms while watching American Idol..lol. My fingers were twisting the flowers and my eyes were on on the tube..he he. That's multitasking?

Yes.. the sentiment is from the batch of metal embossing from previous week.. I have a few more and this "Missing You " seem perfect for this card. I decide not to mist my Pink Paislee's mistable muslin scallop ribbons. They are just gorgeous to be left raw and simple for cards. Lastly I used the last few Melissa Frances tags from my DT kit..just love the image of these two BFFs having a great time looking over a bird's nest on a tiny tree branch..oops watch it girl, you might fall ! This image reminds me of my childhood days lol .
Enough ramblings...have a great and blessed week ahead , toodles :))

Love Mini Album

I have a habit of keeping packaging and tags from clothes, shoes and everything else i could get my hands into. Once in a while my stash of packaging's will over flow from the drawers and that's when i know i had way too much! Of course i don't intend to discard them away so the next thing to do is to use them in my next project.

Here's a Mini Album heavily layered with them. Every page i had a little something behind the photo's. A torn page from an old book, a tag from clothes, a card from Crabtree & Evelyn and plenty more. This mini is small but because of the bulk i add it's bulkier than usual! lol.

Oh..i should thank Mr Hubby for getting me the Fujifilm Mini Instant Polaroid Camera. I can't seems to part with it but i am also very careful in using them. The credit card size film is a little over my budget to splurge. Each shot cost me RM2.50! Hahaha. Hope you girls enjoy my reveal this week and see you on the 25th March, they'll be announcement on the coming Crop Market soon.

Material Used: Webster Pages Pattern Paper, MM Dilly Dally Embellishment Box, MM Glitter Chipboard Swirl, MM Glitter Chipboard Sentiment, Various Packaging, Old Story Book Pages, Kaisercraft Flowers, Lost & Found Chipboard Stickers and Distress Ink.
