Hello Paris - Project Life (theme based)

Bonjour**
So excited to share with you, my fabulous trip to Paris... :)
Today's theme based Project Life showcases two pages of what I love most of Paris, during my recent trip to France.

The first page is about my first two days in Paris. So excited to have landed at CDG airport and we stayed at the Holiday Inn with a lovely view of the streets of Paris. We spotted and toured... yes Louis Vuitton outlet along Champs Elysees, took pictures after pictures of Arc de Triomphe and had a lovely brunch at Chez Clements along Ave Champs Elysees with a view of Arc de Triomphe. So fun. On the way, in the tube, a wonderful street performance in our coach. How fab is that. Hope you enjoy this page.
other fun elements from Prima Devine collection
( chipboard sentiment and tickets)

The second page shares my LOVE for Eiffel Tower, all the different images of Eiffel.
jaime Eiffel {heart}
and some close up using the pretty elements from Prima

and finally love this chippy of Eiffel from Prima

So it was memorable and fun ...and what a great way to document those moments...a treasure they become. :)

Have you started your Project Life? Feeling the lack of mojo and excitement, just pick up your phone and call Papier Love to join in our Saturday sharing sessions from 11am onwards. We love to see what you have done too :). Lets share and be inspired!

Merci!! Au revoir... Hugz xxx

Cut Rite Wax Paper

Hola crafters.

Here's a little something I found while in the US.  Its an absolute treasure to us crafters who love to use their die-cutting tools especially if you're into pretty doilies with delicate details.  The Cut-Rite wax paper comes in a handy roll so you know you have lots to use when you need it.  Forget having the poke and push out the little bits of die-cut cardstock and only to have it damaged sometimes, just add a layer of cut-rite wax paper in between your die and cardstock and save your day AND paper.

Available in-store very very soon!

Meaanwhile, stay tuned for our new arrivals updates.  More CHA-W releases will be arriving instore this month Bella Blvd, Websters Pages, G45, Ranger and more....

Happy craft day!
Macy :)

More dry embossing idea

Hi, Mee Foon here again.  Today, I have a multi-occasion card made using the dry embossing technique.
I embossed the tracing paper and made it into a pocket by sewing it with a ribbon to the card stock    The embossed part has the beautiful white line.  The insert is left blank and wording can be added to match the occasion later.

I love the semi-transparent effect of the tracing paper.

Supplies:
1) Sizzix Embossing Folder Paisley Palooza (657396)
2) Brown Cardstock and tracing Paper
3) KaiserCraft "Sweetheart" paper from the Secret Admirer Collection
4) Martha Stewart Large "Wild Flowers" Punch
5) We R Memory Keepers Crop-a-dile 1/4" and Scallop Cut corner Punches
6) Glossy Accents
7) Ribbon
8) Crystals

Come and join me this Saturday (16 March) 2-4pm at Papier for more ideas on using the dry embossing technique.   See you then!

Layout: Loving Tea Time

I have to admit that I am a perfectly posh tea and scones girly inside. One of my favourite indulgences is a good afternoon tea at a pretty cafe.

I was very pleased when I found a delightful array of restaurants in Bangsar that were located in a serene, breezy part of the suburb without the hustle and bustle of crowds. It was the perfect place to unwind with a cup of tea.

This layout uses a lot of vintage feminine elements and I admit: I went a little crazy with the stamped butterflies. The chipboard pieces are new from Prima at Papier and trust me: are an absolute gorgeous must-have for your scrapping stash!

The swirl die is also a great for your embellishment arsenal and its from the new range of Cheery Lynn dies at Papier. There's some great nifty new things in the store so do be sure to stop by.

Have a gorgeous day, everyone!

Products:
  • Kraft cardstock
  • Prima Poppies and Peonies mask
  • Kaisercraft Secret Admirer scalloped cardstock
  • Kaisercraft 'Flame' paper (also from the Secret Admirer collection)

Feb Project Life Pages

Hi all, it's my turn to share my project life pages this week. I'm actually a bit behind on my PL and have not started my March page yet. Still there's plenty of time to play catch up right?.

As usual I'm sharing my Mini PL with you. I love flair buttons on my pages and yes it makes it a little bulky but i don't mind at all. Like always i have a colorful page and I love word and chipboard stickers too. My fav style is still layering, even working with small space i will try to add a bit of this and that.

How's your pages coming along? Come and join us for a weekly crop session. I'll be hosting it tomorrow. Hope to see you! :)

Other Ways to use Patterned Paper: Trinket Box

Patterned papers often leave us in wonderment...they can be so pretty that cutting them up sometimes leaves you wondering if you should just hoard them..or use them! I have an easy way for you to not part with the pretty designs our scrapbook manufacturers create for us..make you your own trinket box! You can use it to store your knick knacks and anything you may fancy.

I had the delicious Kaisercraft Secret Admirer Patterned Paper, Prima Hello Pastel Flower Embellie and Melissa Frances Chandelier Drop in my kit to play with and here's what I made to share with you!

1) Cut two circles (4" and 4.5")
2) Cut out cardstock/patterned paper to 6"x13" (add an extra strip to make this) & 13.5"x2"
3) Join the two end of the cardstock that was cut up in Step 2
4) Adhere them to the centre of both circles
5) You now have a lid & box body!
6) Embellish with lace, ticket stubs, large flowers etc

'Think Happy Thoughts' Layout

Happy Monday. I've got another layout to share this week. It's a piece filled with Prima goodness and more. Have you check out the store recently? You'll be spoil with the new Prima arrivals. They're definitely something you'd want to splurge on! I know I for one could not resist the new Artist Stencils and Mixed Media Doll Stamp. Oh they're my current fav's!

Let's get going with this layout, materials include Pattern Papers from Prima, Graphic 45, Hambly Screen Print, Prima Resist Canvas, Prima Flowers, Say It In Crystals, Decorative Wood Ebellishment, Chipboard Stickers, Webster's Pages Bookmark Lace, Doilies, Feathers, Washi Tape, Mists, Gesso, Stamps, Pebbles Stickers, Glossy Accents, Stickles, Distress Stain and Distress Ink.

It's a long list of material used as i've added quite a handful of embellishment in this layout together with a lot of layerings using the fussy cut flowers. This layout is available for viewing at the store. I hope you'll find inspirations to create and stay tune for more updates.
