Wati's Workshop - Aug 2nd, 2009

We had an amazing workshop with Wati last Sunday. Total of 18 eager-learning scrappers signed up for it. The workshop was a great way to introduce new tips & techniques to the fellow scrappers, mainly distressing and layering. Laughing and teasing was also part of the fun we had. After all, that is what all of us enjoyed most... each other's company.

I was busy snapping away with Wati's camera, therefore you won't get to see me in the photos. I also lent a hand to scrappers who needed help or assistance. It was really cool to meet other scrappers and to know them a little better.

The first thing they did was to "distress".

It was also a first time for many of them.

Mini Workshop with Wati

Hello all,

It was definitely a great weekend with Wati flying over to conduct the mini workshop for us. Although it was a little over the estimated 2 hours, but I'm sure everyone was happy to stay on as we picked up lots of tips and techniques in the very short time. I could also see the beeming faces and satisfaction as everyone proudly showed off their completed LOs and mini book project at the end of the session.

Needless to say, it was definitely a succesful workshop and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all who participated and another big Thank You to Wati for agreeing to spend her precious weekend-family time amidst her tight schedule to share some of her creative inspirations with us. We will be posting some photos of the event soon so do check back.
