Another card using Pink Paislee's -  " Daily Junque " . My kids at home literally had a tug of war over this paper !!

A bonus tag - A gentle reminder for those who's been running busy.. you need to  " Make Time For A Cuppa.. With Good Friends". Layout and Update on PCM

Happy Monday crafters. I'm here to share another layout using October Afternoon Pattern Papers, White and Kraft Cardstock, Dusty Attic Chipboards, Buttons, Mists and Paper clips. Another boy layout of my husband and son.

I have bits and pieces of pattern paper left and decided to cut the pieces into banners and layer them on top of each other. I use corrugated board behind the photo to create the 3D effects on the layout. I seems to hoard a lot of boxes at home. It work wonders to elevate and add details to a plain page.

On another note I can't wait to meet you on PCM Day which fall on this weekend, 29th Oct. The good news is there'll be plenty of promotion including for the coming Workshop by Emeline Seet. Sign up and prepay before 31st Oct and receive RM20 Papier Voucher or RM50 for 2 classes. T&C applies.

Come dress for the occasion and have fun with us! :)

A Journal And A Card by Liza Yahya

Hey..hey..as promised.. more from my series of projects using " Printery Collection" papers  by Prima Marketing. Here's a journal that I bound. A confession... I am now a certified book binding junkie ! It's addictive and I've been binding books while watching The Voice!

I'm not explaining the lengths of how to bind a book..for those of you that's keen, just head  to Papier and enroll in the book binding class okay.

The first step in making this journal is preparing the frame for the cover. I used a corrugated board from my recycling bin, cut to fit the book front, ripped off just the top layers of some  parts and apply gesso. Die cut the hardwares using Tim Holtz die, apply gesso. Then distress using a combination of Old Paper and Vintage Photo Ranger's Distress Ink. Cut out the Printery paper slightly bigger than the inner frame and paste on the book cover. Place your frame on it and start to arrange all your favourite embellishments. Walla..!

Another project using the same paper.."A Get Well Soon" card , I love the many possibilities...

Did I tell you something BIG is happening at The Papier store! Check out more updates coming your way..soon.

Martha Stewart is back, so is EK!

Hello folks!

The long awaited Martha Stewart punches are back in stock, along with new designs. Sorry it took me a long time to have them keyed into the POS, but I've been very tied up lately, with domestic affairs and thank you for being so patient and understanding. Don't forget to also check out some new tools from Martha Stewart and EK Success new layered punches. Now you can cut 3 different sizes from one (1) puncher and have them layered perfectly.

Also, I may have missed out another of the recent shipment from Hero Arts/Sizzix collaboration. Check out the stamping/die-cut sets and the stamping/embossing design sets in the latest fad! Oh! And also some new papers from Pink Paisley.

Altered Box by Emeline

Altered Box by Emeline

I like the layering and the altered effect of the box especially the use of Prima flowers and embellies to make the box come alive. Makes a perfect gift or just a beautiful deco piece on your mantelpiece (well, dresser too). Emeline will be conducting a workshop for a similar project coming November. It will be something absolutely new at Papier. Check back for details very very soon.

Guest Artist - Emeline Seet

Introducing Emeline, well re-introducing Emeline Seet as our October Guest Artist as some of you may have already met her last year. It is a pleasure and our honour to have Emeline as our October Guest Artist. For those who have met Emeline during the workshops at Papier last November, you are probably quite familiar with Emeline's gorgeous design style.

Here's a little about Emeline and the essence of her beautiful works. Don't forget to check back for more each week of October and catch her in two (2) brand new exciting workshops this coming November, right here at Papier!*

*details to be posted soon

Here's a little from Emeline:

"I am so EXCITED to be back! =) My name is Emeline and I live in Singapore. Having been involved with papercrafting for the last 7 years,I am thankful for opportunities that come my way. I am part of Prima, Websters Pages, Melissa Frances, Tattered Angels and Glitz Design teams and contribute to other creative sites.

My style is evolving and fickle, but one thing stays through, that is the use of white space. My style has often been described as highly detailed and elegant. I am inclined towards layering not only with papers but with embellishments, experimenting with mediums and new products. Come join me in my classes as I share with you my tips and tricks I picked up along the way, share with you ways to incorporate design principles to create a stunning final product.

Besides my involvement with my favorite manufacturers, I conduct popular workshops at my local store and have conducted workshops in Jakarta, Malaysia and if all things go as planned, in Europe too! To have my work featured over a hundred times in printed international magazines is the icing on the cake."

Continue blogging for Emeline's 1st project posting shortly. :o)

Happy weekend!
