Hari Raya Aidilfitri Greeting Card

Hello Papier Lover,

We will be celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri soon.  What a better way to send some love to that special someone, than with a handmade Hari Raya greeting.  Well, almost anyway (with the help of the Cameo tool).

Our Guest Instructor, Ms Mee Foon Tan will be sharing a custom made Hari Raya Aidilfitri greeting card with a self-designed Mosque design.

Notice that the 3D mosque inside the card is designed and cut with the Silhouette  Cameo Tool.

Here are some sneak peeks

Note: the mosque is specially designed by Mee Foon using the Cameo Studio Designer License software.

For those interested to learn how to make this card, and to learn more about the Cameo Silhouette, do join us in a Mini Workshop, Sunday, July 15, 2012, 11 am at Papier with Mee Foon.

Fees: RM25 non PCM,   RM20 for PCM
(all materials inclusive)

Please call to register.

3D project - Dream Big!

Hi Ladies, I am designing with another 3D project for Papier. The 3D project is made from Ambrosia collections of Bo Bunny pattern papers. The papers are full colorful flowers and I am sure you will fall into it once you see them.
DT kit also comprises Webster Pages blink, Webster Pages green bloom.
This time, our projects are required to add two conditional items that we need to 'punch' and 'stamp'.
Yes, here is the shot...

I handmade the flowers which die-cut from Sizzix Tim Holtx Tattered flowers.Fussy-cut the Ambrosia paper......
Stamp 'Dream Big' from Unity Stamp

I hand-cut the 'white window' and die-cut the post from Spellbinder
I add on the pearls using Liquid Pearl from Ranger Ink.
Add the Webster Pages small red bloom at the side of the window.

Back of the window, fussy-cut the Ambrosia paper with flowers and layer them out.
My another handmade purple bloom with gliter glue and doily paper with transparent ribbons on the mini album box which I made myself.
You can insert the mini album with the size of ATC card for little storage.

There you go with the chipboard mini-album, it is a very simple one with not many embellishments as I feel that the reservation for photo to be sticked on.
I cut part of the blink from Webster Page that looks like the door knob with pink pearl.
Again, I handmade the yellow flower with the border of simple lace.

Add caption
I fussy-cut and place at the side page in the mini album.
Punch Martha Stewart border puncher.
'Butterfly' is stamped from Unity Stamp.

This side, you can see some little hydrangeas at the top, distressed inked with various colors and stigma with liquid pearls.

It was a long time for me to complete this task. However, I am feeling satisfied and happy!

Thanks for reading and staying up for being a heartfelt audience.:)
Have a nice day ahead!

Mini journal

Hi there! Happy Wednesday! Today, I would like to share with you my work on a mini journal. The papers that I have used here are Ambrosia from the Bo Bunny collections. The papers, buttons and blings are all from my DT kit. The blings by the way is from Webster's Pages Dazzle Me Gems.

I have tied in the buttons with a twine and secured them to the ring binder. As I moved the journal around, the clicking of the buttons makes a lovely soft 'chime' like sound. I didn't expect this at first but it sure was getting interesting as I just add on things to this mini.

Another patterned paper from the Ambrosia series is the one with full of colourful lace doilies. I have cut these doilies and arrange them inside the mini journal, creating an array of fan-like doilies.

On these colorful doilies, you can also stick page tabs onto it as well; if you like.

Inside this mini journal, I have used Martha Stewart punches to create few personalized pages.

I have used an EK punch for the above page.

I have used Ranger's Distress inks on this mini journal.

Just by dangling them, I can hear lovely chime-like sound. A small apothecary bottle is also tied to the ring binder for fun.

Most of the items above are available at Papier; except for the journal book ( I bought that from Daiso for only RM5 ) and the ribbons. Come and get your supplies!

Thanks for stopping by! Ciao!

Altered Book

Hi All,

I'm sharing with you on my latest project - Altered Book. I've been keeping this idea for some time until I finally found this book (flea market). Love the colour of the cover and I know exactly what to do with it when I first saw it.

I started this project by using a sharp knife to cut the pages out (3D effect). Three patterned papers used to decorate the book. I also used some products from Prima Marketing, Kaiser Craft and Webster's Pages for the embellishments.

Well, that's all for this week. See you all in my next posting. Till then...take care and Happy Crafting.

Game On - a work on canvas

Hi there! Happy Wednesday! Hope you are all in the best of health. For today's post, I want to share a work on canvas. I have used the back side of the canvas; basically making use of the depressed side to create this dimensional frame. I just love Graphic 45 papers! They are so unique and mystical.

If you like the grungy theme on this canvas, come and join me for the class soon. You get to play with paints, inks, punches etc. aaahh and yess...lotsa fussy cutting too.

Do contact the store for more details.

See ya'
