Love of my life layout.

This week i'm sharing a layout of my daughter. Most material used is from my DT kit. Cardstock, Prima Pattern Papers, Flowers, Say It In Crystal, Doilies, Stamped Transparencies, Old Book Pages, MT Tape, MS Puncher, Pom Pom Tape and Stickers. 

After layering the papers together i stamped the background using Hero Arts Stamp. Next layer the embellishment on top. Decorate with MT tape.

A mini album

Happy Wednesday everyone! Its time for me to post again this week. Today, I would like to share with you a project on mini album using my September's DT kit from Papier. This time they are a lovely combination of 2 famous manufacturers. Can you guess what they are?

Its really quite a simple mini album. Apart from the usual embellishments, ribbons, pockets inserts, die-cuts to decorate a mini album; here, i have used a new item. I have used a ball chain to secure the pages together. I have few of these not only the ones i bought new but also from my son's toys like key-chains etc. Some of them comes from the cheap toy vending machine! So, before you dispose off things, think! Lol!

I have included some notes / pointers on my photos this time. { you must be thinking i have plenty of time! } Haha....

I call this page below a 'pekaboo page'.

On the ball chain, you can still tie ribbons etc.

Oh yes, and I have also used MT tape in this album too! They are just adorable and available in many designs - currently being sold at Papier! Get yours now!!

3.5' Mini Album

Happy Monday and Happy Malaysia Day!

I've had a great weekend so far and i bet you do too. Long weekends is always good to rejuvenate and create more! Oh well that's how i spend mine anyway...lol.

Today i'm sharing a super duper mini album. It's a palm size mini that you can just take anywhere with you in case you bump into an old friend or new ones who often asked what you actually do! Hahaha. Yes i get that a lot upon saying i'm a scrapbook designer and that awkward pause..lol. So to make explanation simple just pull out this cute mini album and i'm sure they'll be lots of oohhhs and aaahhhs and the 'you make this?' statement which i take as a compliment by the way.

Wow..too much rambling. Anyway all the item used for this mini is stash from my previous Dt kit. You can spot Prima pattern papers and flowers, others include Doilies, Die cut bird cage, Buttons, Twine, Alphas, Corrugated Board, Packaging etc.

Enlightening the BRIGHTNESS...

This week, I made a 9-inch tall of a paper lamp. I had this inspiration when I was shopping during the weekend in the past few weeks ago. Papier provided me the DT kit with 'bride' theme from Webster's Page and mix with Prima latest product. I am just thrilled to work this out.

Live Your Life - a card

Happy Wednesday everyone! How's life? Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri again to those who celebrate! Did you all had a good time during the holidays?

Today, I would like to share with you a card I made using the Webster's Pages paper and also Bo Bunny's. I've never done such card before and when thinking of new ideas to share with you, this just pop right in! Bottom line is, don't be afraid to try and explore new things. I guess here, I'm a liittle bit out of my comfort zone but it was fun doing this nevertheless ...lol!

These items are mostly from my DT kit.

It's really quite simple to do this card. I wanted to have something like a 'pop-up' effect hence I created firstly the strip of paper about half an inch wide and glued it onto both sides of the paper making sure that when I open the card; the strips will go taut. By the way, the card won't open flat when you do this { can it? Hehe! }

Then, all you need to do next is add embellishments onto the strips. Simple, yes?!

Layout - Celebrating Mom

Hello Sept! Hello everyone. I'm sure we're all still very busy in this month of 'Raya' with so many open house and good food. I've been enjoying a tad too much and had to remind myself to create for the coming classes.  Announcement on the Blog winner and my classes will be done soon. 

Today i'm sharing my first project for Sept. I'd like to start off with a layout. Something to kick me back in momentum after a long break. Here's a page celebrating mom on Mother's Day. A bit of info about this piece. I used a plain cardstock and did masking using Prima Mask and distress ink. I get a bit out of control with the inks! Hahaha. I bet you notice that. Anyway the remaining of the page is created with layers and embellish with Prima flowers.
