'Paperless' Altered Clipboard by Rosa

Hola! It’s Wednesday & it’s my turn to share with you my first DT assignment. It’s an altered art project.

I altered a clipboard and it’s paperless! Why paperless? Did you check out the new stamps in Papier? They are gorgeous! How can one resist? So here’s a simple project of what you can do with your stamps & other mediums.

Step by step guide:

Cover the clipboard with gesso, 2-3 layers of it. Make sure that the previous coat is dry before applying the next coat.

Paint the clipboard with acrylic paint. I used Making Memories (Buttercup).

Spray some Smooch Pearlized Spray Ink, use a sponge & dab the Ink. You don’t have to cover the whole clipboard, just a little dab here and there.

Stamp onto the clipboard with Black StazOn. I used the flower stamp by Hero Arts. (I so love the flower stamp by Hero Arts. You can get it from Papier – while stock lasts)

Paint the flower with acrylic paint of your choice. I further enhance it with LePlume Markers.

Stamp other pattern around it with Black StazOn. I used the Kaisercraft mini clear stamp. Let it aside to dry. Once dry, coat it with Claudine Hellmuth Studio Multi Medium Matte.

Here's the finish product.

So what are you waiting for? Head down to Papier & get your stamps. Visit my blog here to view more pictures & a little extra tip. See you again next Wednesday. Till then, Happy crafting! Cheers….

Note: All items are available at Papier. (except the clipboard)

Materials Used : Clipboard (from any local stationery shop), Gesso, Acrylic paint, Smooch Pearlized Spray Ink, Black StazOn, Le Plume Markers, Hero Arts Flower Rubber Stamp, Kaisercraft mini clear stamp & Claudine Hellmuth Studio Multi Medium Matte.
