"This Is Me" layout by Amelia Khalik

Hey all, it's me again with another layout. After looking at my Nov kit and the vintage looking papers i decided to scrap this photos of me, and yes it's all about 'moi'.

The papers itself is amazingly beautiful but i did a little enhancement here n there, i stamped the background with Inkadinkado stamp and then embossed with gold embossing powder. The elegant looking ladies is fussy cut from October Afternoon Thrift Shop pp. Punched out a couple of butterflies, heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Here comes the interesting part, my handmade flowers. Here's a simple tutorial pics on how i did them. First cut square papers. The size varies according to how big you want your blooms to be. Mine is 4'x4'. Then using my craft scissors i cut a circle around the papers as shown in photos. Roll it from outer part to inside. Glue the bottom. Mists with water and finally i used my stamping block to press. A bit of pressure will do. Decorate as desired. I distress and glossy accents my blooms.

Material lists, October Afternoon Thrift Shop pp, BG Paper Doilies, October Afternoon Last One pp, Donna Salazar Vintage pp, October Afternoon Rub Ons, Buttons, Glossy Accents, Gold Embossing Powder, Clear Embossing Powder, Pins, Leaf, Ice Stickles, Inkadinkado Stamp, MS Butterfly Puncher.

So hopefully you'll get to try out this simple flower tutorial. Till next week, have a productive day..:)
