Crop Party Photos!

Hello everyone!! Yesterday we had an awesome crop party with so many talented ladies in the store. Let me walk you thru the photos as I explain further.

We started our warm-up challenge by making a name tag for the person on your left.

Here were all the beautiful tags done by the scrappers. Pretty isn't it? Majority used pink, I wonder why? LOL!!

First challenge was to create a layout using music title as their layout title.

They were given only 40 mins to complete the layout. I was amazed what they did.

Here are the completed layouts & also not so completed layout... hehehe :)

Second challenge was concept challenge. Scrappers need to use only 6 products out of 15 products in the list & were given 45 mins to complete. For the second round, most of the scrappers were not so pressured compared to the first.

After the second challenge, we had a special sale for the scrappers who attended the crop party. A very special way to thank them for their support. We also had the RAK giving ceremony.

Yuz won the best tag challenge.

Maz also won the best tag challenge.

Liza won the first challenge.

Yuz won the second challenge.

Jessica won the Best Dressed category.

Of course we had yummy donuts & coffee for refreshment.

What a coincidence, the best dressed packaging matched Jessica's dress!!

I guess it was meant for her :)

Here are the pretty ladies who came dress in red & pink. Thanks ladies for your support and looking forward to see you in our next crop party!! I am glad that these creative ladies went back with 2 beautiful layouts they made in the party :) At the mean time, happy scrapping!!

Yup we gonna have a crop party coming up at the end of this month!!

What is a crop party @ Papier?

For those who love to do something creative particularly scrapbooking, a crop party is a fun event to take part in. It is a great time to gather with friends and other scrapbooking enthusiasts, to share creative ideas, and just to have a whole lot of fun. There will be scrapbooking game related, challenges and hourly discounts. Of course you'll stand a chance to win a RAK or two too!!

What do I bring to crop party?

You will need all of the things that you normally use to scrap. E.g. Scissors, cutter, adhesives, embellishments, patterned papers, cardstocks and photos (any size) or if you wish to buy in store - that is fine too!

What is the crop party theme?

Since Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year is around the corner, we would love you to come dress in Red/Pink. There will be a winner for Best Dressed category :)

What should I do if I want to join?

All you have to do is to register with the staff @ 03-7725 4815 & book a spot.

No Plastic Bag Day

Hello planet!

Help us help the environment and save the future of our children. In support for the "No Plastic Bag Day" campaign, beginning Saturday, 16th January 2010, every Saturday will be a NO PLASTIC BAG day for Papier. Therefore, plastic bags will not be given for any purchases made on Saturdays.

For PCM members who bring back their Papier plastic bags for any purchases, you will receive a bonus of 10 PCM points. However, should you wish to purchase a plastic bag, there will be a RM0.20 chargeable fee for each bag acquired. Proceeds will be used for future charity drives.

In line with this, we will also have weekly "Saturday Specials". Check back each Saturday for various storage promotions.

For the very first Saturday, 16th January 2010,

all storage solutions will be going at 10% for non-PCM and an additional 5% for PCM.

Once again, thank you to all kind sponsors of the Abacco Estate Charity Drive which we recently organised. And a special thanks to Jessy too for being the correspondent with Sis. Eva and then so kindly transported all the gifts to the children of the estate.

Papier Elite Club Membership (PECM)
We have begun our Papier Elite Membership program as at 1 January 2010. Papier Elite members will be notified via official mail and also will be receiving a courtesy call from their Personal Craft Consultant very soon. For more information on Papier Elite Club Membership, please do not hesitate to give us a ring at the store or enquire at your next visit. Congratulations to our PCM members who have successfully been awarded the Papier Elite Club Membership for the year 2010 and thank you for your continuous support.

Papier Redemption Points
The Papier Point Redemption Vouchers for the year 2009 has just been issued. Members whose membership are still valid and have been awarded Point Redemption vouchers will be notified via sms or phone within these 2 weeks. Should you not receive notification or would like to check if you have received any Point Redemption Voucher(s), please give us a tinkle at (03) 7725 4815. Vouchers are valid thru March 10th 2010.

Christmas Charity - Abacco Estate

Last Dec 2009, I went to deliver the Christmas gifts to Sis. Eva. She is the person in charge for the children at the Abacco Estate. Here are the pics of the gifts received by all the sponsors who had generously extended their hand for this special "Papier's Christmas Charity". There were also individuals who sponsored more school shoes & beautiful books for these children. These items were not asked by the children but these individuals decided to bless them. Macy & I were so happy to see the good response coming from everywhere & we would like to express our gratitude to Papier customers for making your time to make these children happy!
